Anita M. Brown has served as COO of Clarifi since 2003. She is responsible for the management of the day to day agency operations, Finance and Accounting, Counseling, Customer Service, Systems and Technology and Program Quality. She also works closely with the President and Board of Directors to direct and achieve the strategic plan for the organization.
Ms. Brown joined the agency in June 1999 as the vice president of operations and systems with more than 20 years of consumer banking and management experience. She previously worked with First Union, CoreStates and First Pennsylvania Banks. Prior to joining Clarifi, Ms. Brown was a banking assistant vice president, managing the loan application processing unit for retail auto finance and the administration of the front-end loan processing system utilized by the bank.
Ms. Brown currently serves on the Board of Directors and is Treasurer of the Executive Committee for Cooperative Processing Resources of Dallas Texas, a co-op of 53 credit counseling agencies throughout the USA, Canada and the UK sharing the industry's premiere counseling and debt management software system.
