Financial Boot Camp for Life! 

On April 10th, 2010, Philadelphia Saves held Financial Boot Camp for Life, a half day of workshops providing skills on budgeting, credit, savings, investing and more.    

CBS3 Consumer Reporter Jim Donovan kicked off the event as the keynote speaker.  Mr. Donovan brought insight and humor to the morning with his inspirational speech.

Participants had the opportunity to attend two informational workshops of their choosing.

Budgeting Basics

Credit Workshop

Moving to the Next Level of Savings & Investment

Maintaining Your Savings over Your Life

Getting it Done Home Ownership

An additional workshop, Show Me the Money, was offered specifically for youth and addressed the importance of learning about finances at an early age.  Thank you to Operation Hope, who sent volunteers to lead this workshop.
