The Church of the Good Samaritan

The Church of the Good Samaritan is an active Episcopal church committed to outreach near and abroad. Good Samaritan represents the Greater Main Line area, with parishioners from Philadelphia to Exton. Although we are a large church we deeply desire each person to feel a part of the Good Samaritan family.

The Church operates the following outreach programs:

Good Samaritan Food Closet

  • The Good Samaritan Food Closet provides nutritious basics to local residents. It is an important support system for people struggling here in our own neighborhoods.

Benevolence committee/ HELPS:

  • Emergency assistance is given to individuals and families for practical living needs including rent, food, transportation, utilities costs, medical expenses, and necessities for infants and children. When appropriate, the committee will identify and mobilize available resources to address the needs of clients in a holistic manner.
