Clarifi is proud to announce that Director of Community Engagement Soneyet Muhammad has joined the Debt Advisory Group of EPIC: the Expanding Prosperity Impact Collaborative.
An initiative of the Aspen Institute, EPIC brings together experts in policy and banking, academics and community leaders, with the goal of better understanding emerging issues that threaten the financial security of households across the United States. Its work includes promoting new research and ideas, hosting cross-sector, in-person events that connect new audiences with unconventional thinkers, producing innovative digital surveys, and more.
“I am proud to be part of EPIC, and excited about the opportunity to engage with a diverse group of experts on a subject that has profound implications for our economy and in the lives of American families,” says Muhammad.
As an advisory group member, Muhammad will provide strategic guidance and feedback to EPIC’s work on issues relating to consumer debt.
The brief video posted below explains how EPIC approaches its work.
EPIC describes its ultimate goal as: “to generate deeply informed analyses that helps decision-makers (1) understand and prioritize critical financial security issues and (2) forge consensus and broad support to implement solutions that will improve the financial lives of millions of people.”
