In her role of President and Executive Director, Patty Hasson oversees the operation of the agency and its professional and administrative staff of more than 55 employees who devote themselves to creating pathways to Lifelong Financial Literacy for their clients and communities. Clarifi delivers on its mission in over 20 offices in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. During her 20-year tenure, Clarifi has tripled in size, expanding to meet the increased demand for financial counseling and education services in a major metropolitan area.
Patty and Clarifi have received numerous accolades throughout her tenure including: one of Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2015 Most Admired CEOs, the 2013 Main Line Today Woman on the Move & 2012 Prudential Board Leadership Award.
In 2016, Ms. Hasson was appointed to the Board of the Philadelphia Federal Reserve as a Class B Director; she was re-appointed in 2018. She also currently serves on the Oversight Board for the Philadelphia Mayor’s Office of Community Empowerment & Opportunity. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce. In 2012, Hasson was appointed to the inaugural Consumer Advisory Board of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) for a 3 year term and also served a three year term to the Federal Reserve Board Consumer Advisory Council in 2007. She has held various roles on bank Advisory Boards including the PNC Bank Regional Community Advisory Board and the Capital One Consumer Advisory Council.
Prior to joining Clarifi, Patty spent more than 12 years as a banking executive with a diverse consumer and commercial lending background which includes expertise in small business, credit cards, education finance, merchant processing and auto finance.
Patty has an MBA from Villanova University and BS in Finance from the University of Dayton. And when spring rolls around, she always has high hopes for her beloved Fightin’ Phillies.
