Starting in February, Clarifi will launch an annual VITA [Volunteer Income Tax Assistance] service to help community members save on their taxes. This is a sponsored program that allows eligible taxpayers to receive free support in filing their taxes from IRS-certified volunteers. 

To see if you qualify for this service, you can book a Preliminary Intake Call here. Preliminary calls will become available on Monday, Jan. 27. If you are determined eligible, your in-person VITA appointment will be scheduled at our Center City office.

Note that our site will use Facilitated Self-Assistance and help to prepare simple returns. This allows taxpayers who may be familiar with self-paced software (such as Turbo Tax), to use free filing software provided by the IRS. When needed, your assigned volunteer will be there to assist and answer questions.
