If you’ve landed here, we bet you have a pretty great spirit for putting your expertise to work for other people. Our volunteers are business and financial professionals, community activists, employees of partner organizations – people from all walks of life – who find great personal reward in helping other folks clarify their financial future.
Please know that we don’t take your efforts lightly. We recognize that our volunteers are busy people, and their time is valuable – personally and professionally. So we promise you’ll enjoy a quality volunteer experience at Clarifi. You’ll find new things about yourself when you help others find new personal skills that change their lives.
If you’re ready to help someone turn their financial life around, let’s talk. We’ll even put you in touch with a few of our current volunteers who can share their own experiences with you.
Know something about managing money? Share your knowledge with our workshop participants. Ambassadors conduct workshops on a variety of topics such as goal setting, budgeting, credit, debt reduction, and identity theft.
Volunteer financial coaches work one-on-one with Clarifi clients seeking to reach personal financial goals. Clients are enrolled in a boot camp consisting of a series of financial workshops where they create realistic action plans with the assistance of our staff and financial planning experts. Volunteer coaches will work with clients for six months after the boot camp to engage and motivate clients to stay on track towards their goals.
Both are available for download below. Please return them via mail or email to the addresses listed on the forms.
Once we receive your volunteer application and questionnaire, you will be contacted by a representative to discuss your interest and the available opportunities. Once the appropriate opportunity is determined, you will be invited to our offices so we can get to know one another better.
All volunteers will receive a general orientation on the nature and purpose of Clarifi programs and services. Training for a specific project or department will be done on an individual basis at the discretion of the program manager. Please contact the volunteer coordinator to arrange training once you have completed your interview.
